Sustainability in Production

Our commitment to the environment!

Sustainability is our top priority. Thanks to our innovative closed-loop system, we produce XPS, XPP and fibre casting without waste by reusing the leftovers in a meaningful way.

This means that we utilise resources efficiently and protect the environment at the same time.

We use recycled paper (certified recycled fibres) in the manufacture of our cast fibre products in order to produce environmentally friendly products and reduce our ecological footprint.

This not only helps to reduce waste, but also supports the circular economy.

Climate-Neutral Manufacturing

Another important aspect of our production!

We operate one of the largest rooftop photovoltaic systems in North Rhine-Westphalia, which enables us to cover part of our energy requirements ourselves. We also use 100% green electricity to further minimise our ecological footprint.

Our products, especially XPP, offer numerous advantages when it comes to recycling and are 100% recyclable.

We are constantly conducting research to protect nature and further reduce our carbon footprint. We focus on short distances and regionality in order to reduce our environmental impact.

In today's world, it is more important than ever to protect valuable raw materials and operate sustainably, especially in the area of food packaging.

Millions of tonnes of packaging materials are produced every year, much of which is only used once and then ends up in the bin. In order to conserve resources, we should focus on reusable and recyclable packaging.

Innovative approaches such as biodegradable materials or reusable packaging can help to reduce the consumption of single-use plastic. By making conscious decisions and choosing sustainable alternatives, we are helping to protect the environment and conserve valuable raw materials.

Together, we can shape a future in which food packaging is not only functional, but also environmentally friendly.
